Overview

Boothe's Heating, Air, Plumbing, Drains, & Electrical is currently seeking Plumbing Installer Excavator Equipment Operator to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.  Plumbing related tasks includes sewer replacement dig ups, re-pipes, plumbing fixture replacement, water quality product installation and water heater installation. This position is responsible for heavy equipment operations with excavation projects along with the safe operation of excavating equipment. This position will act as a mentor to Plumbing Apprentices.

Responsibilities

What Will I do?

  • Perform all aspects of the Plumbing Trade in a retrofit residential environment including customer facing installation work and excavator operation.
  • This includes sewer replacement dig ups, re-pipes, plumbing fixture replacement, water quality product installation and water heater installation.  
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, the parts department, and the installation team.
  • This position is responsible for heavy equipment operations with excavation projects.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of excavating equipment.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be able to work well with team members.
  • Properly complete paperwork.
  • You will need to be on call occasionally.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Because you will be driving our trucks, we need you to have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Participate and keep an open mind to training so that you grow and develop as a professional.

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • ​Candidate will have at least five (5) years' experience in the operation of excavator.
  • Must be familiar with safety and trenching regulations and ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner.
  • This position is responsible for heavy equipment operations with excavation projects.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of excavating equipment.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Provide exceptional customer service while on the jobsite.
  • Results driven in a high-energy environment.                
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently.                            
  • Ability work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather.          
  • Must have a clean criminal background and drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
