Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

 

  • Field audits of safety procedures for compliance
  • Fleet safety and Driver coaching
  • Training of critical safety policies and procedures
  • Lead periodic Safety Committee meetings
  • Pre-plan startup job-site safety assessments.
  • Perform written job-site safety inspections and policy reviews and take immediate corrective action as assigned.
  • Give reprimands to employees who are not following the safety guidelines
  • Investigation of accidents and immediate filing of reports in accordance with the E&K Safety Systems.
  • Monitor the medical treatment and status of injured employees until they are fully released and/or the claim is closed, with the HR Manager.
  • Filing and maintaining the employee Medical/Confidential files.
  • Identify needs and make recommendations for safety equipment and PPE.
  • Provide required safety orientation for newly hired employees.
  • Provide required safety training for all employees on an ongoing basis.
  • Attend OSHA inspections, informal conferences, and DOT conferences and compliance reviews as assigned.
  • Coordinate any safety awards program

 

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • 3+ years in on-the-job Safety Director experience
  • Experience in the construction or home service industries a definite plus
  • Familiar with OSHA recommendations and requirements
  • Experience with Service Titan preferred
